FAQ

How do I clean my hot pack?

Before heating place a clean paper towel in your microwave. If needed, you can spot clean your pack with a sponge or wet cloth. Be sure to let the pack dry before storing in a plastic bag. Do not immerse in water.

How do I store my heat pack?

Place in a plastic bag and store in the freezer for cold. If using hot store in a plastic bag in any convenient location. Do not seal plastic bag until all heat has dissipated.

Can I take my cold pack from the freezer and put it in the microwave?

Yes, you can take a cold pack from the freezer and place it directly into your microwave. You will need to increase the heating time. A good starting point is to increase the heating time by 50%. If more heat is needed, heat in 15 second increments until you reach the desired temperature.

How long does the product last?

Since the hot pack is made with organic products, rice and cotton, it depends on how it is used. How often it is heated and using higher heat than needed will shorten the life of the product. With careful use your hot pack should last for years.

My heat pack isn’t hot enough. What should I do?

You may need to increase the heating time. Every microwave is different and the directions on the package are an estimate. The longer you heat your hot pack the hotter it will get and the longer the heat will last. Add heating time in 15 second increments until desired temperature is reached.
